ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to enhance our brand's presence and growth. Ideal for quick learners with a strong work ethic, this role involves executing marketing strategies across various channels, fostering brand awareness, and driving business growth. You'll need creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently on projects, while being ready to collaborate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on communication, organization, and project management, this position offers a unique opportunity for career development within a growing brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Coordinate a monthly marketing calendar, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and current execution plans across all channels.
  • Support the planning and execution of various projects, including content creation, pop-up events, and community engagements (in person or online)
  • Assist in coordinating and executing the posting of content across all social media platforms.
  • Stay current with marketing research and trends to apply the latest insights to our strategies.
  • Keep a pulse on the latest online trends (related to fashion or marketing in general).
  • Assist in handling various administrative tasks within the marketing department.
  • Manage specific projects within the marketing department, overseeing their successful planning, execution, and completion, ensuring they align with our overall marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Support photoshoots and creative projects, including logistics, on-set assistance, and briefing to help develop visually compelling content.
  • Identify influencers or other brands to partner with to create synergy for the brand
  • Assist in creating innovative campaign concepts, copy, and creative; helping ensure accuracy and brand voice consistency.

WHO YOU ARE

  • At least 1-2 years of professional marketing experience, fashion or streetwear experience preferred
  • You can execute organic marketing strategies that align with our brand's values and brand tone
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • You have a growth mindset and are eager to learn and be exposed to many facets of marketing
  • Have a passion for streetwear/fashion and always aware of new trends
  • You are resourceful and consistently think quickly, creatively, and outside of the box
  • You approach challenges with positivity and are motivated to find creative solutions
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects at once, ability to work under tight deadlines, and lead a project from start to finish
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Have in-depth knowledge of best practices for major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field preferred
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Have a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • It would be a plus if you have experience in graphic design/video editing

SALARY

  • $55000 CAD - $65000 CAD
  • The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
