FAILURE IS GOOD?

Hey friends,

Okay, let’s talk about Failure. No, don’t run off; I promise it’s not scary!

Let’s stop glorifying perfection and success and embrace the idea that our imperfections CAN play a role in leading us to success.

Trust me… I fail just as much, if not more, than I succeed. I take this advice seriously.

Acknowledging and accepting our imperfections can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth and self-acceptance.

Here are some things to keep in mind next time you are overcoming a challenge or are faced with "failure."

  1. Let go of unrealistic expectations.

You aren’t going to succeed overnight (trust me, no one wants to more than me).

Instead of setting super high expectations that you might not achieve within the timeline you want, start small. Set small goals.

  1. Embrace vulnerability.

Don’t pretend you have it all figured out (unless you do).

There’s no benefit in embellishing how well you are doing... Even the most successful people in the world deal with challenges.

Honestly, if we were all open about our struggles or roadblocks on our own journeys, people might be more considerate about helping each other succeed!

  1. Letting go of comparison.

Stop comparing yourself to others (tbh, I struggle with this one).

ESPECIALLY those who are on a similar journey.

Focus on yourself and your own ambitions. Just because someone is ahead of you in some respects doesn’t mean you won’t get there. Don’t forget, just because you are ahead of someone else doesn’t mean there won’t be speed bumps along the way.

Your goals, journey, ambition, and DRMS are your own, so don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.

Go easy on yourself; you will fail. I’m sorry, but it’s true. You must remember that it’s OK.

Every challenge teaches you something valuable that will lead you to your end goal.

Lots of Love,

Nina <3
